Highlands County also offers other active attractions, like the Sebring Speedway, home of the
Sebring Gran Prix, one of the original gran prix races to be held in the United States.

is home to 95 lakes, 17 parks, and 39 boat ramps.

Atlantic coasts. Just to the north near Lake Wales lie the unique Florida attractions of
Historic Bok Sanctuary, and National Landmark, along with
Florida's Cypress Gardens, famous for it's water ski shows,
fantastic floral displays, and dozens of other features. The enormous vacation complex of Disney World,
Sea World, Universal Studios, and more, lies about 90 minutes north of Highlands County.
